Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon LAPV 6.X Concept [Video]The new 2010 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon LAPV 6.X Concept represents the latest in armored patrol vehicle technology and has made its debut at the recent EUROSATORY 2010 defense industry trade show.

This year Lotus Cars celebrated its 60th birthday in real style.

Close to 20,000 enthusiasts flocked to the Hethel headquarters near Norwich on Sunday September 14, and MSN Cars was there too.

The event was a love-fest for Lotus enthusiasts, and we count ourselves among them. The old airfield runway was lined with hundreds of Lotus models, from the popular Elise to the rarest prototypes. Around the factory there were the official displays: cars you've never seen before, cars you'd wished you'd bought when you had the chance, and cars that simply defied their age, such was the brilliance of the Chapman's original concept.

A big deal was the opportunity to look in much more detail at the new Lotus Evora, with around a dozen examples that had been used during the development process on display. There was even a British International Motor Show busting Evora reveal.

The team at Lotus put on a great show, not least the large number of staff who showed eager visitors around the factory and design centre. Putting on an event like this is an awe-inspiring challenge, but it also drives home the enthusiasm both staff and owners have for this still personal car company.
